His age also needs a date attached. Contemporary coverage consistently described him as 30 in June 2025. That is firmer evidence than an exact birthday copied from an unsourced biography.
His family connection is confirmed
Giorgio is the older brother of England footballer Alessia Russo. Their relationship was documented in both entertainment coverage and reporting around England’s preparations for the 2025 Women’s European Championship.
The connection became particularly visible when Alessia discussed his television appearance. According to Goal’s report of her BBC Sport comments, she said her England team-mates were watching the programme together and wanted him to do well.
This was more than viewers identifying a shared surname. His sister publicly acknowledged his participation and described the squad’s interest in it.
Giorgio had also attended Arsenal’s Women’s Champions League final victory over Barcelona in Portugal shortly before entering the villa. The timing placed the siblings in two very different public settings: one celebrating a major sporting achievement, the other preparing for reality television.
